I have been going to Schooners for 13 years. Overall I have enjoyed their food. Today I splurged a bit and ordered their $32 steak marsala. Unfortunately over 40 percent of the steak was gristle and fat. I only got 4 clean bites of steak - very disappointing for a place I can usually rely on.
Schooner's has the best Clam Chowder on the East Coast. You've got to give it a try. Everything we've had from here has been fantastic. Today there were 4 of us. Each meal was perfectly prepared and delicious. Strongly recommend Schooner's for a world class meal at reasonable prices. Great service and clean facilities.
Schooner's is a delightful staple of Hull, MA due to its consistent good food, daily specials and great service. Definitely a go to for clam chowder, French onion soup, burgers and sandwiches any day of the week. Sit at the lively local bar where conversation flows or in the dining room and enjoy.
This is a great Restaurant. Its a hidden gem. Food and Service are wonderful. If you re in the Hull MA Area you should stop and enjoy!!!
We were visiting Boston but staying in Hull and decided to try this restaurant. I had a grilled cheese and French Onion soup. It was delicious. My friends had fried shrimp and said it was really good.
Excellent options by the beach. Must get the fried whole clam, shrimp scampi pizza and marinated beef tips. Definitely recommend.
Really solid food and great service. Great portions and will be back ASAP. It is a must stop if in Hull.
We got seated quickly. Waitress was wonderful. We started off of the basket of onion rings, which were nice and hot and fresh. I ordered the fish and chips. It came with a large piece of fish and the french fries were nice and crunchy overall was an excellent dinner.
Probably the best Prime Rib I've had in awhile. GIANT slab of meat, maybe an inch and a half thick, super tender, very flavorful, melted in my mouth On the specials menu only $31.99 after 6pm Guess it sells out quick and I can see why. (We sat down at 5:55) The table next to us was asking for it as soon as they sat down. Our waitress Patty was amazing, she hooked it up with a container of their delicious Au jus to take home since we couldn't finish everything at the restaurant..
